In common with all other authorities in the UK, North Yorkshire County Council is reviewing its pay and grading structure in accordance with the National Joint Council Agreement. which covers all staff with the exception of teachers, Soulbury and Youth staff in the Education Directorate. This review must be completed by April, 2007. NYCC are taking this opportunity to review the total employee pay and reward package, not just job evaluation and pay scales, but how pay is structured, such as how staff progress through pay scales, staff benefits and the very basics of our terms and conditions of employment
