Introduction

This conference is to celebrate the hard work, the commitment, high expectations and achievements of all who work in our schools and for our schools. It marks the achievements of recent years and the launch of the next five years education priorities for North Yorkshire. Children and staff are at the centre of the Conference. Key speakers and guests reflect these aspects.

The range of school contributions is tremendous - a very big thank you to all the schools who are contributing. Letters giving information about the next steps for these aspects are on their way - if you are not contacted very shortly please get in touch with your link adviser or Rosemary Rayne, Primary Adviser.

The draft programme is ready. Numbers to the children's workshops and the 'Primary Quality Mark' seminar are limited and application for these will be necessary.

The Keynote Speeches will take place in Aire Suite which can accommodate 400 plus people. However, to guide catering and organisation it would be helpful if you could indicate numbers of staff attending and possible selection of keynote speeches. These numbers can only be a guide as we would like the conference to be open to all - all staff, governors, parents and interested members of the local communities.
